Chris Pin is a Cambodian American mixed media toy artist who specializes in handcrafted hyper-realistic clothing, shoes, and accessories for collectible figures. He is best known for handmade genuine leather sneakers featured in his 2018 Business Insider interview. Chris’s mission is to use his art to help people reflect on how fashion affects their sense of personal identity in the digital era.

Chris worked as a menswear designer for global brands Converse and John Varvatos before becoming an artist. While, inside (of the industry) he questioned its direction and his own personal contribution; after years of exploration, Chris discovered his niche lay in the authentic miniaturization of clothing and accessories. He now uniquely fuses fashion and art toys with culture and craft, creating pieces that help us redefine our relationship to fashion and the brands that represent it.
